| How to reach | This sivasthalam temple is located 23 Kms to the east from Virudhachalam. One has to travel by bus on the Virudhachalam - Buvanagiri route and get down at Valaya Madevi. A branch road from Valayamadevi goes to this sivasthalam which is about 3 Kms. from Valayamadevi. The temple is located at the confluence of two rivers Vellaru and Manimutharu. A Divya Desam shrine of Lord vishnu is at Srimushnam, 7 Kms from Koodaliayatrur. This sivasthalam can also be reached from Chidambaram via Kavalakudi. Town bus services are available from Chidambaram to Koodalaiyatrur. |
