| How to reach | 1. From Kumbakonam, take Karaikal road till S.Pudur and from there, take Konerirajapuram, Vadamattam road. From Vadamattam, Tiru Anniyur is about 4 km. in the east direction. 2. Those who come from Chennai side can come up to Peralam. From Peralam, one can reach Tiruanniyur via Koothanur, Eravanchery - Natchiarkoivl route and crossing Arasalaru river at Thenkarai to reach TiruAnniyur temple (see map). Other paadal petra sivasthalam in the vicinity of this sivasthalam:- 1. Tirukkaruvili Kottittai is 4 Kms from here and 2. Tiruveezhimizhalai is 4 Kms. from here. 3. Sirukudi and Tiruppamburam are the other sivasthalams located nearby in the east direction. |
